1. Introduction

Apex and Apex Lite are independently developed companion apps operated by spiri2 (“Apex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you create an account or use an Apex app. By creating an account or using Apex, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

2. Information we collect

Apex collects only the information reasonably necessary to operate the app and its features. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

  • Account information, such as your email address, account creation date, and unique account identifier.
  • Authentication data needed to sign in and manage your account. Passwords are handled by the authentication provider and are not displayed back to us in plaintext.
  • Profile information you choose to provide, such as a trainer name, friend code, selected country, and feature preferences.
  • Technical and diagnostic information, such as crash data, basic performance information, and limited usage signals needed to maintain reliability.
  • Subscription metadata, if applicable. Payment processing may be handled by Stripe, and Apex receives limited subscription-status information rather than full card details.

3. How information is used

We may use information to:

  • Create, authenticate, and manage your account
  • Provide app features and sync settings or data you choose to save
  • Maintain access to paid or premium functionality, if offered
  • Diagnose bugs, improve stability, protect against abuse, and support development
  • Send important authentication, security, support, or policy notices

Apex does not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where applicable, Apex may rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract, such as providing account access and app functionality
  • Legitimate interests, such as security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and product improvement
  • Consent, where a feature is optional and you choose to provide information
  • Legal obligations, including lawful requests from regulators or courts

5. Data storage and security

Apex uses commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. Data may be stored on secure third-party infrastructure, and network traffic is intended to use encrypted connections where supported. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Data retention and deletion

Apex retains information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Some information may be deleted promptly upon request, while limited operational, security, accounting, or legal records may be retained where necessary.

Account deletion may be available through the app. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the address below.

7. Third-party services

Apex may rely on service providers for authentication, hosting, database infrastructure, payments, and system-level diagnostics. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. Stripe may process payments where paid features are offered; Apex does not directly store complete payment-card details.

8. Children’s privacy

Apex is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child’s information has been submitted, contact us so it can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete your account or stored data, restrict or object to certain processing, or export information you provided. Contact us to make a request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be reflected in the app or on this page. The updated date above shows when this policy was most recently revised.
