1. Who we are
Aimmetry is operated by spiri2 (“Aimmetry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Aimmetry application on a supported Apple device or visit this policy page.
2. Information processed by the app
When you connect a supported controller and run a test, Aimmetry processes controller information such as stick and trigger positions, controller name or family, drift, range, tracking performance, response measurements, and calculated recommendations. This processing occurs locally on your device and is used only to display calibration results and suggested settings.
Aimmetry does not require an account and does not transmit these controller measurements or calibration results to an Aimmetry server.
3. Information we do not collect through Aimmetry
The app does not collect or sell:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or account credentials
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or camera data
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data
- Analytics, telemetry, crash reports, or gameplay activity
- Your calibration results or exported result images
4. Information stored on your device
Aimmetry may store a small local preference indicating whether you have completed the getting-started guide. Calibration data is held locally while you use the app. If you choose to save or share results, Aimmetry creates the requested image or text file on your device and hands it to the Apple sharing or saving interface you select.
You control where exported files are saved and which third-party app, if any, receives them. Information shared with another service is governed by that service’s privacy practices.
5. External links and platform services
Aimmetry may provide links to controller manufacturers, game publishers, documentation, or compatible sharing apps. Opening a link or sharing an export takes you to a service outside Aimmetry. We do not control those services and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
Apple may process App Store downloads, purchases, diagnostics, or other platform information under Apple’s own policies. That information is not received or controlled by Aimmetry unless Apple separately makes it available to developers.
6. Website and server logs
When you visit spiri2.com, the hosting server or infrastructure providers may automatically record limited technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security-related log data. These logs are used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website; they are not combined with Aimmetry controller results.
7. Retention and deletion
Aimmetry does not maintain a server-side database of app users or calibration results. Local preferences remain on your device until you reset or delete them, or uninstall the app. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save or share them. Website security logs may be retained for a limited period needed for operations and security.
8. Children’s privacy
Aimmetry is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us directly, contact us so we can address the request.
9. Security
Aimmetry minimizes privacy risk by keeping calibration processing on your device. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so you should protect your device and review the destination before sharing an export.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Aimmetry changes. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or its App Store listing when appropriate.
